DiMucci Companies Starts Construction of 36 luxury condominiums at Bouchelle Island

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – DiMucci Companies has started construction of 36 condominiums at Bouchelle Island in New Smyrna Beach.

Tony DiMucci, who heads The DiMucci Companies, said the luxury condominiums will be available lease with an option to buy, and for sale when they are open in early July.

DiMucci added that the two and three bedroom condominiums range in size from 1,400 square feet of living space to 1,900 square feet. Prices will range from the mid $200s with lease to own options available.

Providence Golf Course Nears Completion of Major Renovations, to host Spring-Summer Charity Tournaments, Events

PROVIDENCE, Fla. --- Providence Golf and Country Club located south of Orlando off U.S. 17-92 is nearing completion of bunker renovations to its 18-hole championship golf course.

Tim Greco, general manager of the Providence Golf Course, said the most recent phase of work includes resurfacing 12 bunkers on the Par-72 course.

Greco, who won the Crown Award for Excellence in Club Management Practices in 2004 and took over as general manager of Providence Golf Course in 2009, has more than 15 years of experience in golf course management.

Golfweek magazine has ranked Providence Golf Course among the top 50 golf courses in Florida.

Greco said Providence will host the Haines City Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on April 20. The New Church of Faith will sponsor its first annual charity golf tournament April 21 to benefit the New Church of Faith’s scholarship fund.

Providence will also host the Circle Christian School Inc Golf Tournament this September for the fourth year in a row.

Newmark Knight Frank's Southeast Capital Group Negotiates $19.5 Million Price in Sale of Banks Crossing in Fayetteville

ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Southeast Capital Group at Newmark Knight Frank in Atlanta recently negotiated the sale of the 256,930-square foot Banks Crossing retail center at 134 Banks Crossing in Fayetteville, Ga. for $19.5 million.

Whitney Knoll, who heads the Southeast Capital Group at Newmark Knight Frank, brokered the transaction representing seller Banks Crossing Associates, LLC along with Newmark Knight Frank associates Fred Victor, Mark Hillis and Andrew O’Brien.

Nightingale Properties acquired the neighborhood retail center, which is 97 percent occupied by anchors that include JC Penney, Kroger, Kroger Fuel Center, Guitar Center, Farmers House Furniture, CitiFinancial and Goodyear.

Knoll said Banks Crossing retail center was built in 1987 and renovated in 2005.

“The sale of this core-plus property reflects that grocery anchored centers are in high demand,” said Knoll.

“This asset was a natural fit for the Nightingale Properties portfolio,” Victor said.

Ryland Homes Starts Development at Tupelo in Mount Pleasant – Site work in Phase I to begin in March

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Ryland Homes recently started development at Tupelo, located on Hwy. 17 North near Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant, where the homebuilder recently acquired 155 homesites.

Brian Cartwright Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Ryland Homes in Charleston said an entry road into the development is underway, and the homebuilder plans to start site work in March on Phase I with 60 homesites.

Ryland plans to build three, four and five-bedroom single-family homes starting in the low 200s at Tupelo, Cartwright said.

Two product lines are on the drawing board – Lake Series and Georgetown – but model homes won’t get underway until later in the year, when sales start.

Lennar Starts Construction of Two New Single Family Model Homes at Hawks Point in Southshore area

TAMPA, Fla. --- Lennar’s Central Florida Division has started construction of two new single family model homes in the first phase of Hawks Point, located off 19th Avenue, west of U.S. 301 in the Southshore area of Hillsborough County.

Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida Division, said Lennar is building townhomes and single-family homes on 40 and 50 foot home sites at Hawks Point.

There are 89 home sites in the first phase at Hawks Point.

Lennar’s Central Florida Division to Build Grande Estate Homes at Red Tail Golf Club, just west of Lake Mary-Heathrow in East Lake County

ICI Homes Starts Presales of 84 Town Homes at Arbor Lake at Plantation Bay in Ormond Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. --- ICI Homes started presales of 84 luxury town homes priced from under $170,000 at Arbor Lake at the award-winning Plantation Bay Golf and County Club in Ormond Beach.

Rosemary Messina, vice president of sales and marketing at ICI Homes, said the first model luxury town homes will open in time for the Volusia County Parade of Homes in late March.

Thousands of visitors are expected at Plantation Bay during the three week-long event to tour the Parade of Homes entries, Messina said.
