NAI Realvest Negotiates Lease renewals totaling 21,825 square feet of industrial space at Hanging Moss CommerCenter and Monroe CommerCenter South

ORLANDO, Fla. – NAI Realvest negotiated two industrial lease renewals totaling 21,825 square feet at the Hanging Moss CommerCenter in Orlando and at Monroe CommerCenter South in Sanford. Michael Heidrich, Sr., principal at NAI Realvest brokered both transactions on behalf of the landlords. At Monroe CommerCenter South in Sanford, TekQuest Industries Corporation renewed its lease of 16,200 square feet at Suite 1000, 4275 Church St. The landlord is COP-Monroe, LLC of Maitland. At 6124 Hanging Moss Rd. in the Hanging Moss CommerCenter the tenant, RTR Suppliers, Inc., renewed its lease of Suites 350 and 360 with 5,625 square feet. Maitland-based COP-Hanging Moss, LLC is the landlord.

Cuhaci & Peterson Architects design renovated Publix Supermarket on U.S. 41 and Golden Gate in Naples

ORLANDO, Fla. — Cuhaci & Peterson Architects Engineers Planners were on hand for the recent reopening of the Publix supermarket on U.S. 41 and Golden Gate Drive in Naples. Lonnie Peterson, chairman of the architectural firm based in Baldwin Park, said his firm designed the renovations for the project which included 56,300 square feet of retail space. Cuhaci & Peterson completed design and construction documents for both the canopy renovation and the interior for Publix. The developer is Brixmor Property Group.

Legends Golf Club in Clermont hosts Relay for Life Golf Tournament that raises more than $9,000

CLERMONT, Fla. --- Legends Golf Club in Clermont, a Celebration Golf Management facility, hosted the Fourth Annual Relay for Life Golf Tournament recently that raised more than $9,000 for research and awareness programs sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Jay Scruggs, general manager at The Legends and tournament organizer Jim Rhodes said they were delighted with the record turnout for the golf play and Rhodes has already booked Legends Golf Club for the Fifth Annual Relay for Life tournament Dec. 14, 2013. University Club of Orlando raises $800 and 150 toys at Cocktails for a Cause Reception to Benefit Toys for Tyler

ORLANDO, Fla. --- The University Club of Orlando recently raised more than $800 and more than 150 toys during its Cocktails for a Cause recently to benefit Toys for Tyler, the charitable organization that collected more than 2,000 toys for children at Arnold Palmer Hospital last year. Toys for Tyler is named for Orlando cancer survivor Tyler Youtz, who started the annual effort with a single toy in 2004, than 11 toys in 2005 and 156 toys the following Christmas. Justin Wright, general manager of the University Club of Orlando, said the social club’s Cocktails for a Cause events have raise more than $60,000 this year for Central Florida civic and charitable organizations.
