Greensleeves Names New Development Engineer, Increases Control Software Depth

WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – Greensleeves LLC, an energy efficiency solution provider in Winter Springs, Fla. and Findlay, Ohio has appointed Shane Mason, PE to its Control Development Group as Senior Engineer.

Stephen Hamstra, chief technology officer for Greensleeves, LLC said Mason will drive advanced energy modeling used by the company to increase the efficiency of HVAC systems.

Mason has over ten years of experience in the HVAC industry including project management, controls, and product design. He has managed many projects including universities, health care facilities, and retail/office space.

“He will be using his advanced modeling skills for Greensleeves to create sophisticated energy harvesting, storage and distribution,” said Hamstra.

Most recently, Mason developed heating and cooling system models for the aerospace industry serving clients in the US Department of Defense and their associated industry partners.

Mason received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. He is a licensed PE (Professional Engineer) and will be based out of the Ohio office, Hamstra added.

Greensleeves LLC is a client of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program at the Winter Springs incubator located at 1511 E. State Road 434.
