Commercial Florida Management Reports Huge Increase in Commercial Property Management Assignments

ORLANDO, Fla. - Commercial Florida Management, based in Orlando, reports it has grown its portfolio of managed properties in Florida from under 500,000 square feet of space a year ago to more than 5.5 million square feet.

Robert R. Horton, vice president of Commercial Florida Management, said the firm’s largest single client is a Boston real estate firm that owns 1.7 million square feet of commercial properties in Florida.

Horton said approximately 12 percent of Commercial Florida Management’s portfolio includes distressed properties from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Longtime Orlando-area commercial property broker John Crossman, president of Crossman & Company, will be a featured speaker at the 2009 Retail Smarter Symposium at the University of Florida’s David F. Miller Center for Retailing Education and Research June 25-26 in Gainesville.


Crossman, who ranks as one of the area’s most successful retail property brokers, said his topic is titled, “Trends in Retail Development During Tough Economic Times.”

Coldwell Banker Commercial Agent Sells former DeBary Italian Restaurant to Couple with a Taste for the Far East


DEBARY – A DeBary dining fixture – that for more than 35 years has specialized in everything from seafood to Italian cuisine – has been sold and is undergoing renovations that will transform it into a Chinese restaurant.


Karen Burgess, a Coldwell Banker Commercial AI Group associate, said the 4,376-square-foot building at 54 South U.S. Highway 17-92 in DeBary recently was sold to Jie Chao Huang and Qing Qing Haung of Deltona for $285,000.


The sellers were Allen C. Woodruff and Han M. Woodruff of Lake Mary, according to Burgess, who represented both parties.


Burgess said Won’s Restaurant – which most recently was an Italian restaurant named Bella Vita – is expected to open in the next few months after a remodeling project is completed.

ABD Development introduces new affordable floor plans at Wyndham Lakes Estates

ORLANDO, Fla. - ABD Development Company has introduced new affordable floor plans at Windsor Landing at Wyndham Lakes Estates, located off Town Center and Landstar Blvds. in southeast Orlando.

David Kohn, president of ABD Development Company, said one new floor plan offers three bedrooms with 3,000 square feet of living space priced from the mid $300s.

A second, two-story floor plan offers three bedrooms in 2,500 square feet.

Kohn said 20 home sites remain for sale at Windsor Landing at Wyndham Lakes Estates, including 15 lakefront home sites on Lake Wyndham.

New four, five and six-bedroom homes at Windsor Landing are priced from $499,900 to more than $1 million and range in size from 2,900 square feet to 5,000 square feet.
