Villages of Royal Palm by Winston-James Development Company launches special programs to help homebuyers sell their former homes

SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. --- The Villages of Royal Palm, located in Port Orange, has introduced two new incentives to help homebuyers sell their former homes.

Winston Schwartz, president of Winston-James Development, Inc., which is developing the Villages of Royal Palm, said the developer will grant a bridge loan that means interest only with no payments for up to six months while the buyer’s former home sells.

Winston-James Development will also assist the homebuyer in selling the former home, said Schwartz.

A Guaranteed Purchase Program offers a guaranteed sale of the former home within one year, Schwartz said.

“We will place the former home with a qualified realtor who will guarantee sale of the home in one year or buy the home,” Schwartz said.

“In these challenging times, we have to develop creative ways to help people buy the new home they want,” said Schwartz.

Lennar to Launch Second Annual ‘Top Model’ Showcase July 25 through Aug. 24 with Buyer Incentives including Granite and Steel Kitchens

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Lennar, Florida’s leading homebuilder, reported it will host its second annual “Top Models” showcase starting July 25 through Aug. 24 in all 35 Lennar communities throughout the Tampa Bay, Orlando and Space Coast regions.

Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida division, said 185 Lennar Top Model homes sold during the Top Models showcase last year.

This year, only 150 Top Model homes were selected to be part of the showcase campaign.
“This year we are offering a wide range of special incentives that include granite kitchen countertops, clean steel appliances, hardwood flooring and crown molding in select Top Model showcase homes in all our communities,” Metheny said.

Metheny said low interest rates with low monthly payments and low down payment requirements offer an added incentive, and first time home buyers can take advantage of the government’s $8,000 tax incentive.

“The housing industry in Florida has changed dramatically and there probably won’t ever be a better time to buy a new home than today,” Metheny said.

Hotels in New York, Washington, D.C., Florida offer Valuable Packages, Special Incentives to Improve Bookings during Summer Travel Season

Hotels in New York, Washington, D.C., Florida offer Valuable Packages, Special Incentives to Improve Bookings during Summer Travel Season

MAITLAND, Fla. - CRSHotels.com, one of the nation’s largest online select hotel reservations systems, reports that hotels in New York, Washington, D.C. and Florida are developing valuable packages and special incentives to improve bookings during the summer travel season.

“Many of the packages and special incentives are uniquely valuable because smaller, select hotels are competing with major chain properties for guests,” said Carlos Giraldo, president of CRSHotels.com.

The online booking agency, which posted sales worth more than $18 million last year, is working with hotel clients to develop and promote the packages, Giraldo said.
“Select hotels can offer substantially more value in a package or incentive offer because they aren’t governed by corporate mandates and chain hotel requirements,” Giraldo said.
