Pulte Homes introduces five new floor plans including Pulte Planning Centers at Berkshire Park in Windermere, model Grand Opening Dec. 10

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Pulte Homes has introduced five new floor plans with new featured “Pulte Planning Centers” and “Drop Zones” at Berkshire Park located in Windermere. A Grand Opening is set for Saturday, Dec.10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Berkshire Park that will feature Pulte’s new Madison model home.

Sean Strickler, Vice President of Sales for Pulte Homes in Central Florida, said the new floor plans include three, four, five and six bedroom designs that range in size from 2,430 square feet of living space to 3,649 square feet boasting such features as first floor owner’s suites, three-car garages, granite countertops and tile floors.

Strickler said Pulte Homes is introducing two big new features at Berkshire Park: “Pulte Planning Centers and Drop Zones.” These new features were integrated into the new floorplans because of feedback derived from focus groups conducted with its homeowners.

“The Pulte Planning Center looks like an open room or den but it’s really a survival tool because it’s a place where you can organize the family -- open the mail, pay bills, kids can do schoolwork. Since it’s centrally located in the home and open to the kitchen and great room it offers a lot of flexibility -- it can be whatever you need it to be,” Strickler said.

“The Drop Zone is similar to a northern mud room -- a place for the kids to drop off backpacks and shoes before heading into the rest of the home. So many homes in Florida are designed to walk through a laundry room when entering from the garage. It gets a little depressing coming into your home and seeing all of the laundry that didn’t get done. The Drop Zone addresses that issue.”

The Drop Zone can have bead-board backing, coat hooks and storage for shoes. Additional options in the Drop Zone include upper and lower cabinets with granite countertops, electrical outlets for charging phones and iPads and cabinet cubbies for organizing the mail.

The Madison model home that will be premiered at the grand opening is designed with the new Drop Zone feature.

The public is invited to stop by, tour the model and enjoy food from a gourmet food truck, The Crooked Spoon.

Berkshire Park is located off Overstreet Road and S.R. 535 in Windermere. 13314 Roskin Ln., Windermere, FL 34786.
