Lennar Reports Sales of 10 Villas and Executive Homes in Four Weeks at Bella Terra in Estero

ESTERO, Fla. - Lennar’s Southwest Florida division reported it sold 10 new villas and executive homes during a recent four-week period at Bella Terra, the master planned resort style community located off Corkscrew Rd. east of I-75 in Estero.

Data Transfer Solutions Awarded Major Contract to Design, Deploy GIS Mapping Program to Monitor Health of U.S. Forests

ORLANDO, Fla. - Data Transfer Solutions, LLC based in downtown Avalon Park was recently awarded a major contract by the U.S. Forest Service to design and deploy a GIS mapping system to monitor the health of forests in the U.S.

A.M. “Trey” Fragala III, AICP, chief operating officer at Data Transfer Solutions, said the IDIQ (Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery) contract was awarded by the U.S. Forest Service’s Forest Health Technology Enterprise Team (FHTET), created in 1995 to develop and deliver forest health technology services to field personnel in public and private organizations.

“Our job is to design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based GIS applications that will support the monitoring and analysis of forest health throughout the United States,” Fragala said.

Fragala said the new system will play a big role in monitoring the effects of global warming on the nation’s forests and measuring the volume of renewable forest resources.

Fragala said the contract is valued at up to $800,000 over the next four years.

Lennar Reports Sales of 17 Terrace Condominiums in August at Heritage Bay in Naples, only 20 Terrace Homes remain for sale

NAPLES, Fla. - Lennar’s Southwest Florida Division reports it sold 17 new Terrace Condominiums in August and thus far in September, seven, at Heritage Bay, a gated golf and country club resort community located on Immokalee Rd. east of I-75 in Naples.

University Club of Orlando to Host Inaugural Breakfast Oct. 21 to Launch Young Executive Society for Aspiring Professionals

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University Club of Orlando has launched a Young Executive Society for aspiring young professionals and plans to invite a select few outstanding central Florida high school seniors for participation in the society.

Justin Wright, director of membership and events at the University Club of Orlando, said the Young Executive Society will hold its first breakfast at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and young professionals interested in joining are invited.

Wright said The University Club recently solicited nominations for outstanding area high school seniors and selected a few to be recognized at the Young Executive Society breakfast meetings.

Students from Jones High School, Wekiva High School and Olympia High School have been invited and have already agreed to participate.

Each year The University Club of Orlando distributes $50,000 in scholarships to local colleges, universities and community colleges.
