Scott Lawn Care doubles its facilities at Aloma Business Center in Winter Park
Winter Park, Fla. --- Scott Lawn Care has doubled the size of its offices and warehouse space at Aloma Business Center located on Aloma Avenue in Winter Park.
Winston Schwartz, president of Winston-James Development, Inc., which developed the Aloma Business Center, said the Scott Lawn Care franchise recently closed on an expanded lease agreement that totals 1,876 square feet of office and industrial space.
Schwartz said service industry expansions are taking place all across the Central Florida region. At Beville Road Business Park in South Daytona, the Molly Maid franchise recently doubled its space to 1,050 square feet.
“The national economy is recovering and small businesses are leading the recovery,” Schwartz said. “These are tiny companies that usually employ fewer than 20 people but they are the heartbeat of the economy in Central Florida,” Schwartz said.

Celebration Golf Management and the Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita Mourns the Unexpected Passing of an Employee
Orlando, Fla. --- Celebration Golf Management, which operates eight Central Florida golf courses in the Central Florida region, recently mourned the unexpected passing of Steven Kipp, assistant mechanic at Stonegate Golf Club at Solivita.
Arto Rahmani general manager of the Stonegate Golf Club, said Kipp was only 52 when he passed away.
“Steve Kipp was a close friend and colleague of Stonegate superintendent Mike Gwaltney for more than 28 years,” Rahmani said.
“He was a friendly man, highly knowledgeable, a hard worker and really pleasant and someone you wanted to be around,” he said.
Stonegate Golf Club Team Members wore green ribbons to honor Kipp’s memory.
