Fun and Fitness Are Happening at DiVosta Homes’ New Resort-Style Amenity Center in Mallory Park at Lakewood Ranch

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – DiVosta Homes’ Mallory Park at Lakewood Ranch recently celebrated the opening of a new $2.6 million family-friendly, resort-style amenity center that adds something for everyone regardless of age, interest or level of fitness.
The spacious oasis of leisure features a zero-entry resort pool with lap lanes, a spa, fire pit seating area, basketball and pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 5,800 square foot coastal-inspired clubhouse with community gathering room, catering kitchen and outdoor covered veranda.
A unique, nature-and-preserve inspired playscape area is among the new amenities and is proving to be a family health magnet, drawing youngsters outside and into the fresh air and Florida sunshine.
“The play area for the children is so nice and open, and right off the pool area,” says Kristin Pomeroy, who along with husband Kevin, their 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter have been in their DiVosta home at Mallory park for over a year now.  “It’s just a nice community feel here. Dads walk their children to school, we have a golf cart and really enjoy that, and now my husband has become a huge pickleball fan! We love it.”
The $200,000 children’s play area was designed by a team of experts who specialize in educational and interactive playgrounds, where elements of the natural world are incorporated into a traditional child-friendly fun zone.  The inviting, playful environment cleverly exposes youngsters to elements of paleontology, biology, geology and the natural sciences and entices them to run, climb and explore all while having fun and staying active.
Josh Graeve, Vice President of Sales for DiVosta in Southwest Florida, says Mallory Park’s amenity center with its one-of-a-kind nature inspired play area, took careful planning and preparation.
The goal, he says, was “to create a blend of family-friendly, leisure activities and casual, resort-style amenities. It’s really a spectacular place.”
Multi-generational Mallory Park at Lakewood Ranch offers a collection of single-family one- and two-story homes, as well as two- and three-story townhomes. It’s all buffered nicely by 36 acres of inviting lakes and natural wetlands.
New homes with 2-6 bedrooms, 2-6.5 bathrooms and 2-3 car garages range from 1,617 square feet to over 4,300 square feet and are priced from the upper $200,000’s to the $600,000’s. Professionally decorated single-family model homes and townhomes are available to tour daily.  Several quick move-in homes are available as well.
DiVosta plans to build more than 400 single-family and townhomes at Mallory Park and currently offers 21 distinctive floor plans.  Graeve said the amenity center and its new-generation playground are sweet additions to the growing community.  “It’s a place where all ages can enjoy Florida’s active, casual lifestyle for generations to come.”
Mallory Park at Lakewood Ranch is conveniently located off of I-75 Exit 217 and Lakewood Ranch Blvd., at 11717 Blue Hill Trail, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34211.
