NAI Realvest Appoints Veteran Commercial Brokers Jeffrey Tanner and Kimberly Manson to Top Executive Positions
ORLANDO, Fla. --- NAI Realvest has appointed veteran commercial property broker Jeffrey Tanner Senior Vice President of Investment Sales and Leasing and longtime professional partner Kimberly Manson Director of Retail and Investment Sales.
Robin Webb, CCIM, Managing Director of NAI Realvest, said Tanner and Manson rank as one of the region’s top performing commercial broker teams and have been working together for more than six years. They have been repeatedly recognized as a top-producing team by Central Fla. Commercial Assn. of Realtors and CoStar.
Tanner earned his B.A. Degree in Business Finance from the University of South Florida in 1980 and has more than 30 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker.
Manson earned her B.A. Degree from Rollins College in 2005 while serving as an intern in commercial brokerage at NAI Realvest, and has nine years of experience.
Tanner and Manson will work together as a commercial broker team at NAI Realvest, Webb said. They cover a wide range of specialties including representation of buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants of retail, office and industrial properties. They also handle site selection and liquidation for several regional and national companies, along with performing property evaluation and investment analysis for their clients.

NAI Realvest Negotiates Sale of Industrial facility in Sanford for $3,000,000
ORLANDO, Fla. – NAI Realvest recently negotiated the $3,000,000 sale price for a 242,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility at 1201 Cornwall Rd. in Sanford.
NAI Realvest chairman George Livingston, principal Christie Alexander, broker associate Drew Saphos, CCIM, and associate Paul Vera represented the seller, Lake Mary Industrial Partners, LLC of Columbus, Ohio.
The industrial property, with building built in 1981, was acquired by 1201 Cornwall, LLC, represented by Colliers International.
Del Webb Orlando Opens New Phase with 92 Home Sites, All within Walking Distance of Resort-Style Montecito Clubhouse

Ryland Homes opens Tupelo Forest in Mount Pleasant
CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Ryland Homes has started construction of new single family homes priced from the $240s at Tupelo Forest, located on Hwy. 17 north of Wando High School in Mt. Pleasant.
Gayle Jinks, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes’ Charleston-Myrtle Beach division, said Ryland plans to build 58 new three and four bedroom homes in the first phase of Tupelo Forest priced from the $240s.
Eventually, Ryland Homes plans to build up to 114 new homes at Tupelo Forest.
Jinks said new homes at Tupelo Forest range in size from the three-bedroom, two-bath Sumter II model with 1,554 square feet of living area to the 3,621 square foot Whitmire II model with four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath.
All new homes at Tupelo Forest come with a two-car garage.
Ryland currently builds single family homes in seven communities throughout the Charleston-Myrtle Beach region.
Ashton Woods Homes Has Three Move-In-Ready Homes at its Tampa Community of Crenshaw Reserve
TAMPA, Fla. --- Ashton Woods Homes is offering three move-in ready homes at its Crenshaw Reserve community, located off W. Lutz Lake Fern Road and SR 41 in the Tampa Bay area.

New Contract Plots Big Role for GreenPath Energy Solutions in Orange County Green Initiative

The contract provides for two one-year extensions.

Florida Dept. of Children and Families Launches Five-Year Study with Orlando Company to Learn How Refugees Learn to Cope
ORLANDO, Fla. --- Covian Consulting in Orlando has been awarded a five-year grant to study how refugees are adapting and integrating into their new communities in Florida.
Maritza Concha, Ph.D., a principal at Covian Consulting, said the grant is sponsored by the Florida Department of Children and Families’ Refugee Services Program and funded through grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement.
“Our mission is to administer annual surveys of refugees and entrants to gauge the level of their economic self-sufficiency as well as how they are adapting and integrating into their new community,” Dr. Concha explained.
Dr. Concha said Covian expects to conduct 2,150 surveys over the five-year time frame to measure economic self-sufficiency and adaptation to the U.S. culture.
“We will be asking questions related to employment, English proficiency, housing, education, cash assistance and acculturation,” Dr. Concha said.
Surveys will target refugee families living in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties who come from Cuba and Haiti, and parts of Latin America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Covian Consulting is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located at the Central Florida Research Park in East Orange County.
