Mount Dora, Fla. – First Green Bank has appointed Denise Smith as a customer service representative at its Clermont branch.
Ken LaRoe, chairman and chief executive officer of First Green Bank, said Smith has more than 20 years of banking experience in both the retail side and in operations.
Smith was formerly a collections supervisor with Bank of America and most recently was employed with First Southern Bank in Orange County.
Smith is currently working on her AA degree at Valencia College.
First Green Bank opened in 2009 and has a branch in Ormond Beach in addition to Clermont.
The recently opened Mount Dora headquarters is the second privately constructed building in Florida to qualify for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Platinum certification for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
