RSS Logistics Earns Contract to Provide Integrated Logistics Support For Italian Navy Training and Simulation Program
ORLANDO, Fla., --- RSS Logistics was recently awarded a contract to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for technical modifications to the Italian Navy Trainer (ITN) and Simulator for the AV-8B Harrier II Plus ITN and Simulator Device S2F176 H6.0 OFP Upgrade.
Jeanette Coronado, chief operating officer at RSS Logistics, said Indra Systems awarded the contract which provides that RSS Logistics will establish the framework for the planning, development, implementation, management and execution of the Integrated Logistics Support Program for the Trainer upgrade.
“We will work closely with Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) ILS personnel to develop the ILS program,” Coronado said. “The program will enable logistics support considerations, influence the trainer upgrade design, identify and develop support requirements for the training system readiness objectives, and provide ongoing system support at a minimum cost,” she explained.
Carlos A. Acosta, president and chief executive officer of Indra Systems, said, “We have been very impressed with RSS Logistics to date and we look forward to much future collaboration.”
RSS Logistics is a client of the UCF Business Incubation Program in the Central Florida Research Park located in east Orange County.
Pulte Homes, Centex to host Family Holiday Fest Dec. 7 at Stonebrier communities in Lutz
TAMPA, Fla. --- Pulte Homes and Centex will host a family Holiday Fest with Santa Claus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Stonebrier Waterbridge and Stonebrier Sweetgrass communities, located in Lutz, north of the intersection between Lutz Lake Fern Road and Sunlake Blvd.

Arto Rahmani, general manager of Solivita Club services and vice president of food and beverage operations for Celebration Golf Management, said the Market Place Bistro now allows patrons to visit with their pets at a special outside seating area designated pet-friendly.
Rahmani held a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently with Sunny Depoian, who chairs Pets Are Loved in Solivita---PALS---to announce the Market Place Bistro’s new pet-friendly policy.
PALS is a Solivita Club with a mission to represent the interest of Solivita pet owners.

President of Candace Crowe Design Speaker at Two Top U.S. Conferences for Plastic Surgeons
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Candace Crowe, president and creative director of Candace Crowe Design in Orlando, was an invited speaker recently at the two top U.S. conferences for plastic surgeons.
Crowe spoke “Plastic Surgery The Meeting,” the annual conference of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) in San Diego on Oct. 12, then flew to New Orleans to speak and moderate a marketing course at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) fall meeting on Oct. 19.
With more than three decades of marketing experience, Crowe has specialized in helping plastic surgeons market their skills since 1999 and is a regular invited speaker at many of the national and international aesthetic industry conferences.
Crowe, who works with more than 200 clients in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, served as a panelist on the marketing course titled Internet Marketing: Getting the Most Out of Your Website at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) conference. Her presentation was titled DIY SEO: Some Things You Can Do to Take Control.
“The ASPS is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world, with more than 7,000 physician members representing more than 94 percent of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery,” Crowe said.
In New Orleans, Crowe moderated a course entitled “How Do I Create a Luxury Brand?” and delivered her own lecture entitled, “Just What is Your Identity, Brand and Tagline? Just Do It!”
The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) is the world's largest specialty association for facial plastic surgery. It represents more than 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world.
“The aesthetic industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and this is an exciting time to be involved,” Crowe said.
Once considered vanity procedures available only to wealthy women, aesthetic practitioners now focus on both genders and the widest swath of middle-class Americans.
Reconstructive surgery – techniques used to help patients recover from severe accidents, birth defects and military action – has played the leading role in advancing aesthetic techniques, Crowe said.
