ORLANDO, Fla – For the second consecutive year, Aretha Olivarez – an author, veteran and president of Orlando-based Multiplying Talents – will be a featured speaker at the 2013 Bishop TD Jakes’ International Pastors and Leadership Conference scheduled April 25-27 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Olivarez – a former grant reviewer for the city of Orlando mayor’s office – has conducted seminars and training sessions on grant writing, obtaining 501(c)(3) status and establishing non-profit corporations for the past 15 years. This year she was asked to return to present her “Faith-Based Funding and the Power of the 501(c)(3)” seminar all three days of the conference. “A 501(c)(3) is the only way an organization can get grants,” Olivarez says. “I want to teach other people to do what I do, and I enjoy helping pastors and community leaders obtain their non-profit status.
