JOHN CROSSMAN IS ONE OF THE FEATURED SPEAKERS AT SMPS CLIENT ROUNDTABLE FORUM FEB. 28

ORLANDO, Fla. --- John Crossman, president of Crossman & Company, which ranks as one of the most active retail leasing and management companies in the Southeast, will be a featured speaker at the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Client Roundtable Forum from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Dubsdread Country Club in College Park.

SMPS is the premier professional organization for the architecture, engineering and construction industries.

Crossman will join fellow speakers Glenn Pressimone of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority and Annette Brennan, PE, of the Florida Department of Transportation District 5 in a roundtable discussion at the event.

Dave Brewer, Inc. To Start Construction of Two Luxury Homes Valued at More than $3 Million

SANFORD, Fla. --- Dave Brewer, Inc. will start construction of a 6,500 square foot lakefront luxury home in the Mount Dora area within the next few weeks.

Matt Trask, vice president of Dave Brewer, Inc. said the contemporary design luxury home valued at $1.5 million was custom designed to take advantage of the lake views from every room.

Trask said the luxury home builder will also start construction of a two story Mediterranean-style home in the Markham Woods area of Longwood. The 5,000 square foot luxury home, valued at $1.6 million, will feature four bedrooms, four baths and a four car garage on a one acre home site in a gated neighborhood.

Integrity Home Loan of Central Florida Opens Branch Office in Downtown Orlando, Open House Planned

ORLANDO, Fla. – Integrity Home Loan of Central Florida, Inc. recently opened a branch office at 100 East Pine St. Ste. 201 in downtown Orlando and plans to open two more branch offices in the Orlando region within the next 90 days.

Integrity Home Loan currently has offices in six Florida locations – Coral Springs, Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach.

Matthew Malloy, president of Integrity Home Loan, said new offices are planned for SR 434 in Longwood and E. Colonial Drive in East Orlando.

Integrity Home Loan of Central Florida is a residential mortgage lender that last year closed on mortgage loans valued at more than $400 million.

An official grand opening of the downtown Orlando branch is being planned for sometime this March.

Florida Business Incubation Assn. concludes biannual conference in Largo

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Business Incubation Assn., a coalition of business incubation programs throughout Florida, recently held its bi-annual conference at the Tampa Bay Innovation Center in Largo.

Dr. Tom O’Neal, president of the Florida Business Incubation Assn. and founder and executive director of the University of Central Florida’s Business Incubation Program said the annual conference participants came for a chance to compare notes, establish best practices and set the agenda for 2012.

“Business Incubation is a proven way for Florida to grow its own economy and we have helped to create literally thousands of new jobs across Florida,” Dr. O’Neal said.

Business Incubation program companies in Florida range from the most sophisticated technologies — lasers, photonics, alternative energy and defense — to the most individual personal services and include almost every business category except the most common retail operations such as restaurants and hotels, Dr. O’Neal explained.

Florida can’t afford to wait for national economic growth to come to the Sunshine State,” Dr. O’Neal said. “Business incubators throughout the state are engaged in growing our economy from the ground up, and we have shown to be one of the most cost-effective methodologies to stimulate local economic growth,” he added.

The next conference, the Spring event will be held in Gainesville at the new Innovation Hub in April.
