Mattamy Homes Marks Record Sales in March for Orlando Region, Early April Saw Highest Weekly Sales in a Year Nationwide

WINTER PARK, Fla. --- Mattamy Homes U.S. Group, the U.S. division of Canada’s largest homebuilder, reported nationwide sales the first week in April were the highest since March of 2010, and this past March was a record sales month in the Orlando region.

Steve Parker, president of Mattamy Homes U.S. Group, said the home builder sold 12 new homes in just four Orlando area communities in March valued at $3.2 million.

Parker added that during the first week in April, Mattamy Homes sold 21 homes for $5.5 million throughout its communities in the Orlando, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Phoenix and the Minneapolis-St. Paul areas.

Parker said that 19 of the 21 homes were ready-to-move-in homes.
