Del Webb Naples Celebrates 750th Homebuyer


AVE MARIA, Fla. -- Del Webb Naples recently welcomed its 750th homebuyer – evidence of the distinctive community’s continuing appeal to active adults.  It’s also a testament to the quality of the homes, amenities and activities offered at the first residential community in the town of Ave Maria.

“We looked at Del Webb Naples when it was up and coming but we decided on the townhome that we just sold,” he said, adding, “We both got a good feeling when we went back this year looking around and saw the phenomenal growth.”

Dillard said other 55+ communities in the area didn’t have the wow factor, and most weren’t even in the same ballpark as Del Webb Naples. “We like how Publix is right within the town center, plus all the shops with sidewalks everywhere for walking, hiking or biking.”

M/I Homes is purchasing 136 Homesites at Johns Lake Landing for New Homes Priced from the high $200s in Clermont Community


Clermont, Fla., -- M/I Homes will be purchasing 136 home sites at Johns Lake Landing located on Abbey Hill Court in Clermont. 

David Byrnes, area president in the Orlando region, said 80 of the homesites are 50 feet wide and 56 homesites are 75 feet wide in the gently rolling community on the shores of Johns Lake.
Byrnes said M/I’s first model home – Capistrano II – is already underway and should be completed and open for sales in early October.

The 2,092-square-foot Capistrano II is a spacious four bedroom, two-bath home with a covered lanai and a two-car garage.  The design offers options to add a bedroom or more living area, said Byrnes.

New M/I built homes on the 50-foot sites at Johns Lake Landing will range from 1,750 to 3,600 square feet of living area, and prices are expected to start from the high $200,000s to the low $400,000s.   

Details on new homes offered on the 75-foot homesites will be announced soon at MIHomes.com and a second model home will start construction this month, according to Byrnes.

NAI Realvest Charles Wayne Commercial Closes on $1.14 Million Sale of 44 Residential Lots in Lake Helen

Lake Helen, Fla.NAI Realvest Charles Wayne Commercial, a local real estate industry leader with a global footprint, has closed on the $1,144,000.00 sale by D.R. Horton Inc. of 44 estate-size homesites in the Woods of Lake Helen in West Volusia County.

Steve Costa, Associate at NAI Realvest Charles Wayne Commercial, negotiated the transaction on behalf of the seller.  Costa worked closely with the City of Lake Helen and its Historical Board to ensure the buyer would be a good fit for the City’s architectural gateway standards that maintain an Old Florida feel.

Melbourne-based Vintage Estate Homes, the buyer who plans to build single-family homes in a variety of architectural styles on the finished lots,  is building similar homes at Oakland Park in Winter Garden, Fla. 

“The City of Lake Helen became convinced about the quality of Vintage Estate Homes’ designs, and they are now enthusiastic about seeing the subdivision move forward,” said Costa.

Hold-Thyssen Completes Expansion Lease at Apopka Commerce Center Nearly Doubling Space of the Non-Profit for Disadvantaged Children
