UNIVERSITY CLUB OF ORLANDO DONATES 300 POUNDS OF BEEF TO CHRISTIAN SERVICE CENTER IN ORLANDO

ORLANDO, Fla. --- The University Club of Orlando recently donated 300 pounds of beef to the Christian Service Center in Orlando.

Susan Greene, general manager of the University Club of Orlando, said the value of the contribution exceeds $1,000.

The Christian Service Center was established in 1971 with the mission to eradicate poverty through the provision of services and resources.

Naples Travel Company Selected for State’s GrowFL Economic Gardening Program

Samaritan Village to Celebrate Opening of its First Women’s Home in Orlando at 2nd Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction

ORLANDO, Fla. – Samaritan Village is opening its first home in Orlando, offering hope to women transitioning from chemical dependency and sexual exploitation to a place of healing and wholeness.

On the evening of Saturday, Sept. 10, Samaritan Village is inviting the Orlando community to come celebrate the opening of “Ruth’s House” at the 2nd Annual Samaritan Village Benefit Dinner and Auction. Last year, this community event jumpstarted the Orlando-based ministry, and this year, it is a chance to commemorate progress while moving forward to welcome women into recovery.

The inspired theme of the evening is the “The Road that Ruth Took,” reflecting the journey of women from hurting to healing. Through “Ruth’s House,” women are enabled to leave former lives of exploitation and dependency, to be restored and empowered to live full and meaningful lives.

Hosted at Summit Church, doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for this “cocktail casual” night. A Silent Auction, starting at 6 p.m., will offer benefit auction items that include pieces from renowned local artists and a getaways to the mountains of North Carolina. NAI Realvest Negotiates Three Leases Totaling Over 23,000 Square Feet at Kissimmee Shopping Center

ORLANDO, Fla. – NAI Realvest recently negotiated one renewal and two new long- term lease agreements totaling 23,014 square feet at Kissimmee Shopping Center on Old Vineland Road in Kissimmee.

Paul P. Partyka, managing partner at NAI Realvest brokered all three transactions representing the landlord, Herndon, Va.-based KVOS, LLC.

Bealls Outlet Center renewed its lease of 15,686 square feet at 2523 Old Vineland Rd. for five years. “The significant growth Bealls experienced over the past three years at this location was the deciding factor on its extension of the lease for five more years,” Partyka said

Kissimmee-based Jerr-a-bel’s Bridal, in an expansion move from the Poinciana area, signed a seven-year lease for 3,197 square feet at 2547 Old Vineland Rd. in the Kissimmee Shopping Center.

And at 2549 Old Vineland Rd. in the same center, the Tabernacula Nuevo Comienco church leased 4,138 square feet for three years. “Tabernacula headed by Pastor Hector Mundo is expanding its space, relocating from a smaller location to accommodate the growing congregation,” said Partyka.

Beazer Homes starts presales of new single family homes at Woodland Lakes Preserve in East Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla – Beazer Homes has started presales of 157 single family homes it plans to build at Woodland Lakes Preserve, located off Curry Ford Road near Alafaya Trail in east Orlando.

David Byrnes, president of Beazer Homes in Orlando, said the home builder has started construction of the first model home at Woodland Lakes.

The model home has 2,546 square feet of living space with five bedrooms, three baths and a two-car garage.

New one and two story homes at Woodland Lakes Preserve, with three, four and five bedrooms, range in size from 1,600 square feet of living space to 3,200 square feet of living space priced from $199,990.

Beazer Homes at Woodland Lakes Preserve are being built with eSMART features that increase energy and water efficiency and indoor air quality.

Byrnes said a grand opening is planned for September, when construction of the model home is completed.

Winston-James Development Reports New Lease at Aloma Business Center

Winter Park, Fla. --- Winston-James Development LLC, based in South Daytona, recently leased 938 square feet of office space at the Aloma Business Center in Winter Park to Applied Behavior Center for Autism.

Winston Schwartz, president of Winston-James Development, said the new tenant operates two full time therapy centers for children with autism.
