President of Candace Crowe Design Speaker at Two Top U.S. Conferences for Plastic Surgeons

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Candace Crowe, president and creative director of Candace Crowe Design in Orlando, was an invited speaker recently at the two top U.S. conferences for plastic surgeons. Crowe spoke “Plastic Surgery The Meeting,” the annual conference of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) in San Diego on Oct. 12, then flew to New Orleans to speak and moderate a marketing course at the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) fall meeting on Oct. 19. With more than three decades of marketing experience, Crowe has specialized in helping plastic surgeons market their skills since 1999 and is a regular invited speaker at many of the national and international aesthetic industry conferences. Crowe, who works with more than 200 clients in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, served as a panelist on the marketing course titled Internet Marketing: Getting the Most Out of Your Website at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) conference. Her presentation was titled DIY SEO: Some Things You Can Do to Take Control. “The ASPS is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world, with more than 7,000 physician members representing more than 94 percent of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the United States who perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery,” Crowe said. In New Orleans, Crowe moderated a course entitled “How Do I Create a Luxury Brand?” and delivered her own lecture entitled, “Just What is Your Identity, Brand and Tagline? Just Do It!” The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) is the world's largest specialty association for facial plastic surgery. It represents more than 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world. “The aesthetic industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and this is an exciting time to be involved,” Crowe said. Once considered vanity procedures available only to wealthy women, aesthetic practitioners now focus on both genders and the widest swath of middle-class Americans. Reconstructive surgery – techniques used to help patients recover from severe accidents, birth defects and military action – has played the leading role in advancing aesthetic techniques, Crowe said. Candace Crowe Design is a client company with the UCF Business Incubation Program at the Central Florida Research Park in East Orange County.
