ORLANDO - The University Club of Orlando will host three Cocktails for a Cause Events in July, August and September.
Susan Greene, general manager of the University Club of Orlando, said Cocktails for a Cause events host charitable and civic groups that employ group leaders as guest bar managers. All gratuities are donated to the cause, Greene said, and Cocktails for a Cause events have raised more than $100,000 to support local civic and charitable organizations.
The University Club of Orlando will host a Cocktails for a Cause reception to benefit Special Olympics from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 29.
On Aug. 26, the University Club will host MichLee’s Puppets, which visits local schools to offer students life lessons and character-building exercises. The Cocktails for a Cause event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
On Sept. 26, the University Club will host Canine Companions, which trains dogs to serve as intelligent companions for disabled and elderly.
