ERP Consulting Exchange Launches Country Ambassador Program

Winter Springs, Fla. - ERP Consulting Exchange (ERPCX), a global 4000-member network of independent Enterprise Resource Planning consultants that is headquartered in Winter Springs, has launched a Country Ambassador Program. An ERPCX Country Ambassador serves as the primary contact for companies seeking ERP consulting services from ERPCX members in his or her country.

Four ERPCX Country Ambassadors have been named: China, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

ERPCX consultants perform implementation, configuration and technical support of products sold by SAP AG, the world’s leading supplier of ERP software to support core business functions. Those include: purchasing, sales, delivery, billing, production and inventory management, quality control and human resources, Herbert Goertz, chief executive officer of ERP Consulting Exchange said.

In addition to direct ERP consulting, ERPCX also acts as key conduit of SAP knowledge through its online social networks, member-to-member collaboration, access to live SAP systems, and the SAP experts knowledgebase — one of the most comprehensive libraries of SAP tutorials and documentation available, according to Goertz. One of the roles of Country Ambassadors will be to promote use of these resources to SAP consultants, customers and users around the world.

“We are very excited about the Country Ambassador Program,” said Goertz. “Country Ambassadors will give the ERPCX a local presence in every country we serve. Each one will be person that the ERPCX goes to first whenever we need to support customers in their country. Country Ambassadors will have exclusive use of the ERPCX logo on websites, newsletters and other materials. And we will support each Country Ambassador with a country-specific website he or she can populate in their local language,” Goertz explained.

“I am delighted to be named the Country Ambassador for Germany,” said Andreas Hielscher. “The ERPCX offers SAP customers and consultants a new way of working together – using online tools – that’s more cost-effective than traditional onsite consulting. But local customers will also appreciate having someone close by they can call who speaks their language and understands the culture,” Hielscher said.

Wim Wetzels, the Country Ambassador for the Netherlands, expects his ERPCX connection will help his consulting career. “Each Customer Ambassador knows that they have the entire ERPCX behind them,” Wetzels said. “That is a powerful resource when you are looking to bring more knowledge and capabilities to projects.”

ERP Consulting Exchange is a client/member of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program at the Business Incubator in Winter Springs at 1511 East State Road 434.
