Port Orange Personal-Injury Law Firm Donates 100 Bicycle Helmets to Port Orange Police Department

PORT ORANGE – The Port Orange-based law firm of Rue & Ziffra recently donated 100 bicycle helmets to the Port Orange Police Department for the agency’s free helmet program.

The helmets – which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis – are free to children under the age of 16. Florida law states that children under age 16 must wear an approved helmet when riding a bicycle.

“We’re happy to donate to this cause as one of our practice areas is bicycle accidents,” said Allan Ziffra, president of the longtime personal-injury law firm. “And, the helmet donations are geared toward bicycle safety.”

For more information, or to schedule an appointment to pick up a helmet, call the Port Orange Police Department at 386-506-5870.
