ENTERPRISE, Fla. – The Port Orange-based law firm of Rue & Ziffra is a sponsor of Saturday’s (11/12) 4th annual “Hope Bike Run” to benefit the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise.
The 100-mile bike run, which begins at 8:30 a.m. at four Central Florida locations, will wind down at 1 p.m. at the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, 51 Children’s Way, Enterprise.
“We’re excited to help out with this benefit for the children’s home,” said David Sweat√, a partner in the personal-injury firm.
Starting locations are the DeLeon Springs United Methodist Church, 265 Ponce DeLeon Blvd. in DeLeon Springs; RideNow Power Sports of Ocala, 3880 N. U.S. Highway 441, Ocala; Sharky’s Bar, 3925 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Orlando; and Space Coast Harley Davidson, 1140 Executive Circle, Palm Bay.
In addition to the ride, the day will include a silent auction, a variety of food, activities, raffles and fellowship.
Each year, the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home cares for more than 250 abused, abandoned and neglected children from throughout Florida. The agency, which has a community child care center, provides residential and foster care, emergency shelter, therapy, and adoption.
Tickets, which include lunch and a T-shirt, are $20 for drivers and $10 for passengers.
