CELEBRATION, Fla. --- Beau Osborne, a candidate for Clerk of The Court in Osceola County, will host a golf tournament June 9 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at Celebration Golf Club in Osceola County to benefit Give Kids the World, the charitable organization that fulfills the wishes of children with serious or terminal illness.
Osborne, a resident of Osceola County for more than 40 years and a 27 year law enforcement veteran, has also served as a volunteer for Give Kids the World.
The cost – $100 for individual player, $360 for a foursome – includes a Southern- style BBQ lunch, green fees, cart fees and pre-round range balls. For tournament information, contact Cynthia Faller at 813-468-2521 or cfaller1@hotmail.com and pay online through PayPal.
Sponsors at the tournament who purchase a Gold Hole, $450, Silver Hole $300 and Bronze $150 will have recognition at Tee hole signs and during ceremony. All proceeds will benefit Give Kids the World.
“Give Kids the World is a wonderful non-profit organization that exists only to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world right here in Osceola County,” Osborne said.
“Having volunteered at the Villages, I have witnessed first hand the pure joy and excitement on the faces of these brave children. Give Kids the World has hosted more than 107,000 families from all 50 states and more than 70 countries. I am proud to live in a county that offers such a wondrous gift and honored to assist such a worthy cause,” he said.
