Eagle Creek Golf Club to Host Second Annual Fairways for Warriors Veterans Day Golf Tournament Nov. 16

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Eagle Creek Golf Club on Narcoossee Rd. in East Orlando will host the second annual Fairways for Warriors Golf Tournament on Friday, Nov. 16. Gene Garrote, president of Celebration Golf Management, which operates Eagle Creek Golf Club, said the golf tournament will raise funds to support the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Fairways for Warriors in their efforts to help combat wounded warriors enjoy golf on Central Florida golf courses. Garrote said the tournament will be limited to the first 140 golfers who register for the event by Nov. 12 by mail to Fairways for Warriors, 3361 Rouse Rd. Suite 225, Orlando, FL 32817, or by email at www.FairwaysForWarriors.org. The registration fee for the tournament is $85 per player. The four person scramble tournament will begin with a shotgun start scheduled for 8 a.m., Garrote added. Prizes will be awarded for the top three teams, longest drive and closest to the pin.
