Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty Launches Global marketing effort to sell 3,100 acre Hunter’s Ridge Development site in Ormond Beach

HEATHROW, Fla. — Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty has launched a global marketing effort to sell the remaining 3,100 acres in Hunter's Ridge, a DRI development located just west of I-95 in Ormond Beach that has approval for development of nearly 1,900 residences and more than 600,000 square feet of commercial development. Roger Soderstrom, founder and owner of Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty, said development of Hunter’s Ridge began about 15 years ago but was suspended when the real estate market started to collapsed in 2006. “Now that the real estate market in Florida is booming again, the market for an approved DRI-scale development is very strong,” Soderstrom said. “Developers and investors are aggressively seeking prime properties and Hunter’s Ridge has enormous potential and a very reasonable offering price of $15 million,” Soderstrom said. Major infrastructure is already in place at Hunter’s Ridge to accommodate future development, including an elementary school on site. The Hunter’s Ridge site, located on State Road 40 (Grenada Boulevard), the western gateway into Ormond Beach, is now the epicenter of a new Ormond Beach growth corridor, Soderstrom added. “Development of the new 396-bed Florida Memorial Hospital, along with medical facilities, retail centers, restaurants, and cafes around State Road 40 and I-95 significantly increases the value of the Hunter’s Ridge site,” Soderstrom said, adding “Not to mention the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway are minutes away.” Stirling Sotheby’s International Realty associates John Kurtz, Mark Arnold, and Roger Soderstrom are representing the property.
