Unified Software Technologies hosting free Monthly Forum on Parallel or Distributed Applications and Systems Starting Sept. 24

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Unified Software Technologies LLC (UST) will host its next free monthly forum for software developers, IT managers and other IT professionals interested in multi-core, multi CPU, parallel or distributed computing systems on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. in Room 211 of the University Tower Building, 12201 Research Parkway in the Central Florida Research Park adjacent to UCF. Ken Pierce, vice president of business development at Unified Software Technologies, said the forum will explore new methods and technologies that "unlock" the processing potential of modern computer hardware. “New technologies utilizing multi-core, multi CPU, parallel or distributed computing systems can significantly maximize performance, efficiency and stability of large-scale IT systems in the finance, healthcare, defense, gaming and simulation industries,” Pierce explained. On Sept. 24 Layton Perrin, chief technology officer of Unified Software Technologies, will present a demonstration of UST’s new Lock Free Library and Web Server Software “Speed.” Pierce said the monthly forum, which launched in June, has 16 members.
