Covian Consulting CEO’s Study Featured in Prestigious Professional Journal
ORLANDO, Fla. --- Covian Consulting Principal Maritza Concha, Ph.D., turned a scholarly study of South Florida community-based organizations (CBOs) into a featured article in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Public Administration.
The article---titled “Exploring Collaboration, Its Antecedents, and Perceived Outcomes in Service Partnerships of Community-Based Organizations in South Florida,” ---reports Dr. Concha’s look at ways South Florida public service groups share resources and form service partnerships to address social problems.
Dr. Concha said her study will help Covian clients build successful service partnerships to alleviate social problems.
“Community Based Organizations traditionally collaborate on many issues,” Dr. Concha explained. “My study identifies best practices that CBOs employ as well as areas that need improvement to build capacity at the inter-organizational level,” she said.
Covian is a professional consulting organization focused on helping community based organizations and small businesses with research, program evaluation, communication strategies, and staff development.
Covian Consulting is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located at the Central Florida Research Park in East Orange County.
