Covian Consulting Contract Will Help Combat Global Human Trafficking

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Covian Consulting was recently awarded a contract from the International Rescue Committee (IRC), the independent international organization that currently is working in 40 countries worldwide from its headquarters in New York City. Maritza Concha, PhD, principal at the Orlando-based management and consulting firm, said Covian Consulting’s 18-month contract, which began April 1, focuses on providing evaluation services for IRC’s program that assists the victims of human trafficking. “We have been retained to assess stakeholders’ coordination of services, measure self-efficacy and self-sufficiency of victims who are served by the program and for the development of a logical model to track goals and objectives of the program,” Dr. Concha said. The IRC’s human trafficking program is funded by the U.S. Dept. of Justice. Covian Consulting is a professional consulting organization focused on helping community based organizations and small businesses with research, program evaluation, communication strategies, and staff development. Covian Consulting is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located at the Central Florida Research Park in East Orange County.
