Winter Springs, Fla. --- Exam Plus, a Winter Springs company that provides comprehensive substance abuse programs for a wide range of corporate and government employers, recently earned a major contract to serve Lufthansa Technik in Puerto Rico, a leading manufacturer and provider of maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil aircraft.
José A. Batista, CPCT, BAT, President and CEO of Exam Plus, said the three-year contract as Third Party Administrator for the Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs at Lufthansa Technik will ultimately involve more than 300 highly skilled workers.
“Lufthansa Technik provides tailored maintenance programs and state-of-the-art repair services under international licenses that require absolute reliability,” Batista said.
Batista said Lufthansa Technik’s six business units---Maintenance, Overhaul, Component Services, Engine Services, VIP Services and Landing Gear Services---serve more than 750 customers worldwide.
“This is a major step for us and we expect it will lead to more work on the international stage,” Batista said.
Exam Plus is a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located at 1511 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs.
