M/I Homes Starts Model Home at Hideaway Cove, an Outdoor Enthusiast’s Fantasy in Oviedo

OVIEDO, Fla. --- M/I Homes recently started construction of a new model at its newest single-family home community, Hideaway Cove, located on Simmons Road in a pristine area of Oviedo adjacent to the protected wetlands of the Econlockhatchee River.

A private enclave of 49 homesites, Hideaway Cove offers eight one and two-story single-family and executive home designs with four and five bedrooms, ranging from 2,317 to 4,889 square feet of living area with two and three car garages.  Homes are priced from $443,990 to $700,000, which includes a 15-year structural warranty, according to David Byrnes, area president.

“We are very excited to offer this new floor plan.  The Savannah II features five bedrooms, including a luxurious master suite and three full bathrooms with a three-car garage all on one level,” Byrnes said.    

The model is scheduled to be complete and open for touring by July 1.

Many of the homesites at the gated community back up to woodlands and some have pond views.

Although Hideaway Cove might seem like a world of its own, it is well connected to major highways including SR 417 and 408 which provide convenience to the I-4 corridor, the employment and entertainment venues of Oviedo Marketplace, downtown Orlando and international airports.   Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy close proximity to the Little-Big Econ State Forest and the Florida Trail.    The community is also within the highly rated Seminole County School District and minutes to University of Central Florida.
