TAMPA, Fla. --- Lennar will host a “Brooks vs. Alstott Bash” on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Concord Station, located on Strombury Drive off S.R. 54 and Sunlake Blvd. in Land O' Lakes.
Mark Metheny, president of Lennar’s Central Florida Division, said former Tampa Bay Bucs stars Mike Alstott and Derrick Brooks, recently inducted into the Tampa Sports Hall of Fame, will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans during the event, which is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Metheny said music and food and refreshments will be provided and families are invited to attend. Alstott and Brooks will engage in a contest to see who can construct a model home with a building kit and the first one finished wins money for his favorite charity.
Lennar will showcase 13 new model homes at Concord Station, Metheny said. Three, four, five and six-bedroom single-family homes at Concord Lakes range from 1,500 square feet of living space priced from the $180s.
Concord Station features Lennar’s “Everything’s Included Homes” with free upgrades that include refrigerator, range, microwave, washer and dryer, maple or cherry cabinets, tile floors and premium landscaping.
“This is a great weekend to come out and meet some real stars and tour some fabulous homes,” Metheny said.
