PALM COAST – SeaGate Homes, Flagler County’s largest homebuilder, has purchased lots in the Hidden Lakes community of Palm Coast and plans to start construction next month on The Hibiscus, a new 1,900-square-foot model.
Priced from $178,990, the professionally decorated Hibiscus will feature a great room and open kitchen with a separate café opening to the lanai, according to Michael Sawdai, vice president of operations.
“Homebuyers can choose to build their home as a three-bedroom, two-bath, or as a two-bedroom with a den,” he said. “It’s a great plan for families who want flexible space or may not need a designated third bedroom.” Sawdai said other features of the open-concept model home include a side-entry garage, a large covered lanai, stone front, wood floors, granite kitchen countertops, crown molding, and a Roman tub and oversized walk-in shower in the master suite.
In addition to The Hibiscus – the company also will offer 11 other floor plans. SeaGate’s prices will start in the $150s.
The model and a lakefront spec home with the Hibiscus floor plan that will get underway soon are among 375 homes being built in the planned-unit development east of Old Kings Road near the south entrance of Palm Coast’s Town Center. Homebuyers at Hidden Lakes will have access to a future community pool, playground, nature trails, hundreds of acres of conservation area and more than half a dozen lakes, Sawdai said.
