ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. --- Rachel Elias Wein AIA, founder and principal of WeinPlus Real Estate Advisory Services, LLC in St. Petersburg, has been appointed to the planning committee that will coordinate the University of Florida’s Real Estate Trends and Strategies Conference to be held in Orlando early next year.
Wein, who graduated from the University of Florida and then earned postgraduate degrees there in Architecture and Real Estate, said she expects the 2012 Real Estate Trends and Strategies Conference to be one of the most important in a decade.
“We are emerging from a major economic recession that centers on real estate values, and residential and commercial real estate will play a pivotal role in our economy at the national level and most importantly here in Florida,” Wein said.
The annual conference, hosted by the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration, relocated to Orlando last year to provide expanded meeting facilities to its growing audience.
