Orlando I.T. Consulting Firm Selected to Participate in State’s Economic Gardening Program

ORLANDO, Fla., – Progressive Systems Solutions Inc., a 20-year-old information technology consulting firm has been selected to receive free technical assistance through the state-funded GrowFL program.

Part of the Florida Economic Gardening Institute, GrowFL was created in 2009 by the Florida Legislature and is based at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. When selecting businesses for the program, the institute looks for ones that have the potential for success, according to Dr. Tom O’Neal, executive director of the Florida Economic Gardening Institute.

“Progressive Systems Solutions was selected not only because it has shown potential, but because it offers such a wide range of services to a variety of clients throughout the world,” said Dr. O’Neal, who also is associate vice president for the University of Central Florida’s Office of Research and Commercialization.

O’Neal said GrowFL will support through a number of free services, including access to market research and technology, strategy analysis, CEO roundtables and forums, database research and website optimization.

According to founder Carolyn Jasiulewicz√, Progressive System Solutions’ 16 employees focus on providing help for small and mid-sized companies and organizations through a range of integrated systems including accounting and finance, project accounting, manufacturing, networking, internet security, programming, application training and ongoing customer support.
