ORLANDO, Fla. --- BioTraits, Inc., a leading global provider of biometrics technology to corporations, governments, institutions and consumers worldwide, has entered an exclusive Strategic Partner Distribution agreement with Lucky Technology-iGuard, Inc. of Satellite Beach, Fla. to market iGuard® biometric security devices in the U.S. east of the Rocky Mountains and in Central and South America. The announcement was made by Wayne Wilkerson, president of iGuard U.S. Operations.
iGuard® is manufactured by Lucky Technology, Ltd. of Hong Kong, and is the world’s leading biometric access control device.
“iGuard® is the “Best in Class” patented biometric reader.” It is literally the world standard. We have tried other products that purport to do what iGuard ® does however we have found nothing that even comes close,” said Peter Wengert, chief executive officer of BioTraits.
“As a strategic partner, BioTraits will be a full stocking, next-day-delivery supplier of all iGuard® products, providing 24-hour customer response along with full lifetime support on all iGuard® devices and systems,” Wengert said.
Wengert launched BioTraits eight years ago as a reseller of iGuard ® products.
“We have worked together for years selling access control solutions and integrating our BioTraits Time Manager® workforce management time and attendance solution,” he said.
Wengert said the Strategic Partner Distribution agreement will result in international sales valued at $10-$50 million over the next five years.
“We will be redeveloping the reseller program, launching a new Website and launching several new solutions and applications for the Educational and Healthcare sectors,” Wengert said.
