Mattamy Homes Plans April Opening for Marley Park Energy Star Neighborhood in Surprise

TEMPE, Ariz. --- Mattamy Homes plans to open its newest Energy Star® neighborhood in April 2012 at Marley Park, located east of Reems Road, just south of Waddell Rd. northwest of Phoenix in Surprise.

Carolyn Morrison, vice president of operations for Mattamy Homes in Arizona, said 50 new single-family homes are planned at Marley Park that range in size from 2,000 square feet of living space to 3,500 square feet with two and three-car garages. The community boasts tree-lined streets, a swimming pool, Discovery Park a children’s playground, and organized resident events.

Morrison said five new designs will be available in one-story and two-story plans that feature lofts, dens and flex spaces, priced from $180,000, with Energy Star® Version 3 appliances and engineering.

“This will be our third neighborhood where we build homes with the Energy Star requirements. The new designs and home features are projected to save homebuyers as much as $400-$600 per month on their energy bills,” Morrison said.
