Del Webb starts construction of Eight Carriage Homes at Sweetwater Active Adult Community in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Construction is underway of eight new carriage homes at Sweetwater, Del Webb’s award-winning active adult community located on Surfbird Circle off of Baymeadows Road East in Jacksonville.

Sean Strickler, vice president of sales for Del Webb in the North Florida region, said new two-bedroom carriage homes that range from 1,438 to 1,857 square feet at Sweetwater offer two baths and a den plus a one-car garage.

Strickler said the eight new carriage homes at Sweetwater will be completed and ready for occupancy by April-May 2012.

Maintenance free carriage homes at Sweetwater are priced from the $150s, Strickler said.

Sweetwater offers residents a clubhouse where the community hosts a wide range of educational, recreational and entertainment events, indoor and outdoor pools, picnic pavilion, bocce ball and tennis.
