BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY PSYCH MAJOR JOINS VOLUSIA LAW FIRM’S MARKETING DEPARTMENT

PORT ORANGE – Aubrey Skye Grant, a student at Brigham Young University, recently joined the Port Orange-based law firm of Rue & Ziffra as a marketing assistant.

The Daytona Beach resident currently is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the Provo, Utah university, according to Marketing Manager Jessica Eckelbarger.

Grant, who has several years of experience in the area of customer-service, spent four years as a communications coordinator for the Mayor’s Youth Advisor Council in Meridian, Idaho, before joining the Walt Disney World staff in Orlando.

While in Idaho, Grant served as chair of a community involvement committee and was in charge of numerous activities and philanthropic projects, including fundraisers and political events. She also was the only youth appointed by the mayor to provide youth input to the city’s arts commission.

“We’re very excited to have Aubrey join our marketing team,” Eckelbarger said. “She brings great people skills, as well as enthusiasm and a background in budgeting and philanthropy to our staff.”
