CLERMONT, Fla. --- Centex Homes has introduced a new floor plan that features a full walk-out basement at Verde Ridge, located off Old County Road 50 in Clermont.
Sean Strickler, vice president of sales for Centex Homes in North Florida said Verde Ridge is the perfect location for Centex Homes’ Landon home, which offers up to seven bedrooms and five baths.
The Landon with Basement, which boasts 4,296 square feet of living space including the walkout basement option, is priced from $289,990, Strickler said.
“For families moving to Florida from up north, a basement in Florida isn’t easy to come by,” Strickler said. “The rolling hills of Clermont offer the perfect topography. It’s one of the few places in Florida that can offer a full walk-out basement,” he explained.
The Landon floor plan features a main living area with an 11-foot four-inch ceiling in the great room, a dining room with a foyer on the first floor, along with a kitchen with vaulted ceiling, three bedrooms, three baths, flex room and three-car garage and the optional walkout basement feature with a covered deck with stairs down to the backyard.
The walk-out basement offers just under 2,000 square feet of space.
That space can be configured as extra storage area, three bedrooms, one bath, a second great room and covered patio leading out to the backyard.
“We can also add a second kitchen in the basement and an additional bathroom,” Strickler said.
The Landon floor plan also offers a convenient planning center and drop zone as options as well.
