Plantation Bay to host 21st Annual Volusia County Men’s Amateur Championship Golf Tournament

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. --- Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Ormond Beach will host the 21st Annual Volusia County Men’s Amateur Championship Golf Tournament at Club de Bonmont.

Maria Tuohy, general manager at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club, said golfers will compete Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 29 and 30.

“Volusia County Men’s Amateur Championship Golf Tournament is Volusia County’s most prestigious amateur golf championship,” Tuohy said.

The tournament field will be limited to the first 120 participants who post a handicap of 15 or less.

Flights will be organized within Open, Senior and Super Senior divisions for the 36-hole stroke play tournament and champions will be recognized from each division.

Entry forms are available by email or at most Volusia area golf shops, Tuohy said.

Entry fee for the tournament is $150, and includes prizes, golf and lunch after the final round.

Entries must be submitted with full payment no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Tuohy said tournament entrants should make checks payable to Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club.
