Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge to host 2013 REMAX World Long Drive Championship Event June 21-23

WINTER GARDEN, Fla. --- Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Winter Garden, will host the 2013 REMAX World Long Drive Championship local and southeast regional finals competition June 21-23. Tano Malentin, general manager of Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge, said the three-day competition will draw about 600 of the best long-ball drivers in the U.S. “We are expecting a crowded field, and the winners will go on to the nationals.” Malentin said. Malentin said admission to the event is free and the public is invited. Concessions will be available during the event. “The 2013 REMAX World Long Drive Championship will showcase some of the longest drives we’ll ever see,” Malentin said. “For avid golfers, the long drive is the holy grail,” he said.
