Ryland Homes Leads Area Call-A-Thon that Nets 55 New Members for Tampa Bay Builders Assn.

Tampa, Fla. --- There’s a reason the Tampa Bay Builders Association is the fastest-growing regional home builder association in Florida with more than 500 members to date. And the Sales and Marketing Council of the TBBA has grown with it to over 230 members. Mike Finley, vice president of sales and marketing at Ryland Homes in the Tampa Bay region, said the Tampa Bay Builders Association is actively bulking up, and it’s for a good reason. “The home building industry is critically important to the Tampa Bay regional economy and TBBA is actively recruiting business members who want to benefit from a growing industry and play a more prominent role in local economic growth,” Finley explained. Recently, Ryland Homes organized an afternoon Call-A-Thon that included 20 TBBA and SMC members. The telephone work was well rewarded. “We took more than 55 membership pledges in just under two hours,” Finley reported. Ryland’s Call-A-Thon recruited members of the Tampa Bay Builders Association, TBBA’s Sales and Marketing Council and the TBBA Remodeler’s Council. Finley said the home builders association could double in size over the next 24 months. “The housing market is rebounding, our economy is improving and our region’s home building industry benefits a lot more than just 500 companies,” Finley said. “Our membership scope is probably 2,000 businesses and professionals,” he said.
