“Establishing a drug policy and providing it to employees is critical in preventing any issues that could arise as a result of law changes. Medical Marijuana is a subject that could affect business rules and regulations, including the Drug Free Workplace Program Florida Statutes 440.102,” Batista said.
Medical marijuana legalization appeared on the ballot in Florida in November.
Exam Plus, a University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program company located in Winter Springs, opened three years ago and is a member of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association and the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association.
