BURNSVILLE - Mattamy Homes - Minneapolis, a division of Canada’s largest homebuilder, reported it was ranked by the Keystone Report as the number one homebuilder in the Twin Cities market for 2009.
Steve Logan, vice president of Mattamy Homes in Minnesota, said the home builder pulled permits for 250 units last year – more than any other home builder.
At the same time, Logan said the 250 units represented a 134 percent increase over 2008, the same comparison period the balance of the market experienced a 27 percent decrease.
Currently Mattamy Homes builds single-family and town homes in seven communities throughout the Twin Cities.

Mattamy Homes has only 16 Split Level Town Homes Remaining for Sale at Heritage Park Town Homes in Woodbury
BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Only 16 split level town homes remain for sale at Heritage Park Town Homes, located on Lake Rd. and Independence Way in Woodbury. Mattamy Homes released the final phase of town home sites for sale at a recent Realtor reception, said Jennifer Anderson, marketing manager for Mattamy Homes U.S. Group in the Twin Cities area.
“This is the final release of town homes at Heritage Park,” Anderson said.
Mattamy Homes will start construction on four town home buildings that total 16 units over the next 60 days.
The first building---with four town homes---will start construction in December. New town homes will be ready for immediate move-in by March, Anderson said.
A second building with five units will be completed in April and the final two buildings with seven town homes total, will be available by May.
Mattamy’s Carver and Marquette model town homes at Heritage Park feature split level designs with three bedrooms, three baths, and two-car garages that range from 1,680 square feet of living space to 1,876 square feet, priced from the high $100s.
One model town home---the Marquette---is open for tours at the Heritage Park Town Homes model sales center now, Anderson said.
Mattamy also has four new showcase homes nearing completion at Heritage Park that will be move-in-ready in January, she added.
Altogether, Heritage Park includes 100 town homes, with a community clubhouse, swimming pool, playground and walking/biking trails.

BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Mattamy Homes U.S. Group has released six home sites for construction at Riverside Bluffs, a community of 100 new homes, located on Eagle Creek Blvd. and Foothill Trail in Shakopee.

Mattamy Homes USA Appoints Chris Adams New Home Sales Associate in Minnesota
WINTER PARK, Fla. - Mattamy Homes USA, the U.S. division of Canada’s largest home builder, has appointed Chris Adams a new home sales associate in for its Minnesota division in the Twin Cities region.
Laura Bailey, vice president of sales and marketing for Mattamy Homes USA, said Adams has more than five years of experience as a new home sales associate. Adams is a graduate of Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
Mattamy Homes USA, headquartered in Winter Park, builds new homes in 11 communities priced from the $100s in the Twin Cities area.
The firm’s Minnesota division is headquartered in Burnsville.
