Celebration Golf Management Sponsoring CPR Classes for Employees, Members

ORLANDO, Fla. – Celebration Golf Management will sponsor CPR / AED training by the American Lung Assn. for workers at the six clubs they manage.

Classes will be held at Stoneybrook West Golf Club in Winter Garden on Sept. 21 and at Celebration Golf Club in Osceola County Sept. 22.

Gene Garrote, president of Celebration Golf Management, said participants will be certified for two years. Garrote said Celebration plans to sponsor CPR /AED training every fall.

“We are in the people business, and CPR /AED is a critical skill that can save people’s lives in an emergency,” Garrote said.

“Hopefully, we’ll never have the occasion to put the training to use, but we want to be prepared and we want to be ready if any of our members, guests or family have an emergency,” he said.

At Stoneybrook, classes will start at 1:30 p.m. and at Celebration Golf Club, 9 a.m.
