Maximize Angel Investments to Showcase High-Powered Sponsors at Dave Berkus Seminar Nov. 9 at Grand Bohemian Hotel

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Maximize Angel Investments of Central Florida, Inc., which plans to invest millions of dollars in startup industries in Central Florida to increase jobs and stimulate the local economy, plans to showcase a core group of powerful sponsors at its Dave Berkus Seminar on Nov. 9 at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando.

Berkus, the California angel investments guru whose personal angel investments track record includes more than 70 successful investments and an internal rate of return that exceeds 97 percent, will present a two-hour lesson on angel investing for up to 100 participants expected at the seminar, said William De Temple, chief executive officer of Maximize Angel Investments.

Sponsors of the seminar will lend credence to the importance of De Temple’s effort. They include AP Capital Partners, Platinum Sponsor of the Seminar. AP Capital Partners funded ZeroChaos, an Orlando tech startup that recently sold for more than $200 million.

The Baker & Hostettler law firm, one of Central Florida’s largest, is the Seminar’s Gold Sponsor. Among Baker & Hostettler’s clients is AP Capital Partners.

Greenberg Traurig, another Orlando-area legal powerhouse, is the Seminar’s Bronze Sponsor. Among Greenberg Traurig‘s clients is the founder of ZeroChaos, Harold Mills.

“Dave Berkus is an informative, entertaining speaker who is widely recognized as an international leader in angel investment strategies and best practices,” De Temple said.

“Maximize Angel Investments has already recruited 30 angel investors who have pledged to invest $50,000 annually in local startup companies. The momentum is moving in our direction,” De Temple said.
