Grub Taxi, Second Harvest Food Bank hosts Grub Drive, Delivering an End to Hunger through Dec. 21

ORLANDO, FLA. -- Grub Taxi, LLC, the three-year-old catering and restaurant delivery service based in east Orlando and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida teamed up to host the “Grub Drive” --- delivering an end to hunger through Dec. 21.

David Gray, marketing manager for Grub Taxi, said the restaurant delivery service will provide free restaurant deliveries to households that donate two or more food items to the food drive such as meals in a can, oatmeal, nutritional drinks, dry beans, pasta, rice, baby food and diapers.

“The food items will be provided to needy families and individuals in the greater Orlando area,” Gray explained.

Gray said customers can donate non-perishable items at the Grub Taxi office at 3251 Progress Drive, Suite B1, Orlando or directly to the Grub Taxi driver when receiving a food delivery.

“We have made donating as easy as possible,” Gray said.

Donations will also be accepted at the Amigos/GrubTaxi.com booth at the Taste of Orlando at Waterford Lakes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov.12.

“We really appreciate the help of our customers, whom many of have already started to donate,” Gray said.
