Hydromatic Technologies Unveils Safer New Energy-Efficient Clothes Dryer and Seeks Beta Testers

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Hydromatic Technologies, (www.safe-mates.com) which develops green, energy efficient solutions for household appliances has invented a new and safer way to dry clothes. The fluid-based heating technology formerly known as the DryerMiser™ has been successfully embedded in new clothes dryer cabinets and will be made available under the brand-name; The SAFE-MATE CLOTHES DRYER™

Michael E. Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Hydromatic Technologies Corporation, said Hydromatic is introducing its first new appliance which utilizes a patent-pending technology that passed UL’s stringent Safety testing in January of 2009. The new breed clothes dryer operates while using up to 50 percent less heat energy, while reducing fabric shrinkage and lint accumulation that prolongs the life and brightness of clothing. As it's name implies, the SafeMate Clothes Dryer™ also completely eliminates a major hazard to consumers...Lint-related dryer fires that, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, affects more than 15,000 U.S households each year, can cause loss of life, and creates approximately $100 Million in property damage each year.

Brown said "Homeowners deserve to dry their clothes without the fear of lint-related dryer fires or other inconveniences common with today's conventional dryers. Hydromatic is currently selecting "1000 Florida-based families" as beta-testers for the SafeMate Clothes Dryer™, however purchase is required and will include a matching top-load washer to insure proper dryer performance.

The SafeMate Clothes Dryer™ will come with a five-year limited warranty and is backed by a full money-back guarantee if they’re not completely satisfied, Brown said.

Brown said Hydromatic’s proprietary heating technology is simply a better design to dry clothes with greater safety while using less energy. We expect subsequent Department of Energy (DOE) testing and validation to prove to the world that the SafeMate Clothes dryer™ will out-perform today's electric and gas clothes dryers, just as it has in private testing.

Currently, the heating technology is installed by qualified technicians in brand new dryer cabinets of its competitors, however Hydromatic is considering options to manufacture its own dryer cabinets and mass produce it under the "SafeMate Clothes Dryer™ appliance line.

"This is our 1st Generation SafeMate appliance line and successful beta-testers who meet our beta test qualifications, and comply with some simple rules, will be eligible for a free replacement second generation SafeMate washer and dryer at the completion of the one year testing period,” said Brown.

“We’re developing of a new type of Laundry machine that will make washing and drying clothes a more simple and convenient task, while getting them brighter and cleaner than conventional front load or top load washer/dryer models,” he said.

“We're doing what we can to create jobs with green, innovative technology and we're looking forward to expanding our operation, manufacturing capabilities and product market penetration.
