Sanford, Fla. --- The Women Empowerment Institute, headquartered in Sanford with offices in Orlando and Atlanta, will host “Get in the Game,” a two-hour seminar on Saturday, Sept. 15, that aims to help women unleash their inner top-level executive.
Sherlina L. Stephens, MSW, director of the Women Empowerment Institute said the workshop is designed to help women clarify their dreams and start putting them into action as a leader or an entrepreneur.
The Women Empowerment Institute is a division of the Power Promise Organization, a 501(c)(3) organization, and a client company of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program located on West First Street in downtown Sanford.
Tekoa Pouerie, the President of the Power Promise Organization, is thrilled to launch this new division. “Our mission is to help each woman begin shaping their destiny, maximizing their potential, and become self-sufficient trailblazers in their community,” Pouerie said.
Through coaching and education, women who embark on their next life journey often witness remarkable transformations, Pouerie explained.
“Get in the Game” will be the first of many bi-monthly workshops held at the UCF Incubator in Sanford, Fl.
“This is not your typical workshop. Participants should be prepared to get out of their seats, network with some phenomenal women, and begin shaping their own destinies,” Stephens said.
Registration for the workshop, to be held at 110 West 1st St. in Sanford, is $59.99.
