Cuhaci & Peterson Architects completes design of Feeding Children Everywhere facility in downtown Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. --- Cuhaci & Peterson Architects Engineers Planners, based in Orlando’s Baldwin Park, completed pro bono design and engineering work on the newest Feeding Children Everywhere facility on West Pine Street in Downtown Orlando.
Lonnie Peterson, chairman of the architectural firm said the 9,600 square foot warehouse and distribution center will serve the international charity organization that mobilizes volunteers and donors to assemble thousands of simple, nutritious meals that are shipped to isolated parts of the world where hunger and malnourishment are rampant. Meals are also distributed to local schools as part of their Love Local initiative.
Peterson said Nathan Griffis of Cuhaci & Peterson served as project manager for the warehouse project and provided architectural and engineering services.
